The Flat-Out rocker is catch-free and makes laying down those first few carves a breeze, while also providing a great press and carve feel when you're ready to add new moves to your bag. The Powercore is snappy and responsive, so you won't have any of that dead-plank feel you'd get from a rental board (or the old one you're borrowing from your buddy).
