Salomon Men's Super 8 Snowboard 2024

Salomon's Super 8 is an all-mountain and powder board that doesn't feel like anything else you've ridden before. Along with a directional shape and set-back stance, it features Salomon's Backseat Camber, which gives you plenty of camber under your back foot that mellows out to a flat camber towards the front of the board. This gives the board tons of drive on harder snow, and allows you to put maximum power into your carves. The flat section up front provides the float in powder, but is aided by a wide nose that tapers down to a slimmer tail. This sinks the rear end of the board in deep conditions, further elevating your nose for maximum float. If you find yourself in the pow any time it's there, and carving up the groomers any time it's not, then Salomon's Super 8 has your name written all over it. • Backseat Camber - Camber loaded under the back foot for precision and control, with flat segments under the front foot for superior floatation in deep snow. The best of both worlds.
• Tapered Directional - Tail width is slightly tapered (2-20mm). This loosens up turning initiation and improves floatation in deeper snow without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack.
• Sintered Base - An industry standard for quality sintered base materials. Provides a moderate balance between the speed created by a hard surface and good wax retention.
• Quadratic Sidecut - A blend of elliptic curves for easy turn initiation, effortless direction changes and fluid edge to edge transitions.
• BA MD Fiberglass - Medium density European-made fiberglass layers guarantee a consistent quality level for light and lively boards. 
• Aspen SLCT Core - Components have been selected and designed to optimize pop and reduce weight while utilizing sustainable attributes of a super light wood. 
• All-Mountain EB - Equipped with a 1-degree bevel in the nose and tail and a 2-degree bevel between the feet for superior edge hold and no hang ups. 
• ABS Suspension - The mollecular structure can be described as a concrete bar combining toughness for energy transfer and dampening properties for impact absorption.
• Popster - The core is strategically milled inside of the insert packs, allowing the board to flex more naturally underfoot and transfer energy into the nose and tail for added pop.
• Damplifier - Cork and ABS insert on nose helps absorb vibrations for a smoother ride at high speed.
