Volkl Junior's Racetiger SL R w/Plate L Ski 2023

Racetigers are narrower and more aggressive than other Völkl skis and benefit from many generations of continuous improvement – for higher speed and more edge grip. The Völkl Junior SL Racestock ski features progressive lengths to accommodate all young racers. This race ski also features a Race plate interface with a joint in the center, creating a much more harmonic bending curve. The drill pattern allows a more direct power transfer, and the X-Comp binding is attached with only three (3) instead of four (4) screws. Expert and advanced skiers will find this ski is more forgiving and smoother to ride.

• Speedwall Woodcore - consists of a mixture of poplar and beech, combination results in an extremely durable woodcore in the binding and sidewall area and lighter wood in between. The composition of the different woods varies to match the flexing of the ski for higher power transmission and agility
• Base P-Tex 4504 - a sintered base with an extremely high density for greater wear resistance, wax absorption and is extremely fast. Used exclusively in topline race models, now updated with special additives for better glide
• Torsional Soft Tip - the torsionally soft and wider tip results in a much more direct, more precise and reliable tip answer. Reduces torsion by as much as 60%
